Исследования проведены на популяции свиней двух плановых пород ландрас и йоркшир, обладающих достаточным количеством животных с измеренными значениями селекционируемых признаков собственной продуктивности и имеющимися в государственной информационной системе в области племенного свиноводства на 31.12.2022 года в количестве 2915 основных свиноматок и 76 основных хряков-производителей. Установлено, что все селекционируемые признаки, входящие в комплексные индексы свиноматок и хряков-производителей, имеют положительные значения корреляции средней и высокой степени: для свиноматок: среднесуточный прирост – 0,915-0,835, многоплодие – 0,179-0,487, масса гнезда к отъёму – 0,482- 0,377; для хряков-производителей: толщина шпика – - 0,297 – ( - 0,225) для пород ландрас и йоркшир, соответственно, среднесуточный прирост - 0,999, что свидетельствует о возможности использования разработанных индексов в селекционно-племенной работе.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The aim of the presented work was to establish the relationship between the index assessment of animals and the measurement values of the selected traits included in the index assessment. The research was conducted on the population of pigs of two planned breeds, Landrace and Yorkshire, having a sufficient number of animals with measured values of selected traits of their own productivity and available in the state information system in the field of pedigree pig breeding as of December 31, 2022 in the number of 2,915 main sows and 76 main stud boars. It was found that all selected traits included in the complex indices of sows and stud boars had positive correlation values of medium and high degree: for sows: average daily gain – 0.915-0.835, prolificacy – 0.179-0.487, litter weight at weaning – 0.482-0.377; for stud boars: backfat thickness – - 0.297 – ( - 0.225) for Landrace and Yorkshire breeds, respectively, average daily gain - 0.999, which indicates the possibility of using the developed indices in selection and breeding work.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>селекционный индекс</kwd><kwd>агрегатный генотип</kwd><kwd>экономическая ценность</kwd><kwd>свиньи</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>selection index</kwd><kwd>aggregate genotype</kwd><kwd>economic value</kwd><kwd>pigs</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Hazel, L.
